Android 5.1 Lollipop OS Coming To HTC One M9 in Europe, Middle East and Africa Tomorrow



Even though the Android 5.0 was announced sometime last year, most devices are still stocked with running android 4.4 Kikat OS.
Even on some high profile handsets, the lollipop update hasn’t be rolled rolled over and Google hasn’t updated statistics in the last two months.

If you are situated around Europe, Middle East or Africa and you currently use an HTC One M9 phone, brace up as the android 5.1 lollipop update might get to your device by tomorrow 4th of August.


HTC’s product and service Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Graham Wheeler, via tweeter today, stated that the android 5.1 will be coming to EMEA HTC one M9 devices tomorrom
Although, as a result from the most recent update on the device, some HTC One M9 device were reported to be facing some bug issues which has to do with severe battery drainage and extremely slow battery charging. It is not quite clear whether or not the update will fix those issues. However, Earlier last month, HTC acknowledged the issue and advised owners who were experiencing the problems, to uninstall Google Photos App adding that a hotfix would be released.

HTC is ok but I prefer Tecno.

I thought i was the only one that loved Tecno. I have the Tecno boom j7 and its an amazing phone!
